The Bossier-Shreveport area covers two public school districts (Bossier and Caddo) and over 20 private schools. According to the Louisiana Department of Education, the Bossier-Shreveport area has an elementary and secondary enrollment of almost 67,000 students.
Bossier students score far above the average each year in state and national tests, such as the Iowa Tests of Educational Development and Iowa Tests of Basic Development. These achievements reflect local administrators’ and teachers’ beliefs that each child must be provided the very best in order to achieve their very best. A district-wide technology plan, along with individual school technology plans, provides the most up-to-date, cost-effective tools and training to assist teachers and students in reaching their goals.
