A Night of Stars set stage for 2010 Annual Banquet

Weeks before the glitz and glamour of the Academy Awards hit Hollywood the Bossier Chamber of Commerce is bringing it to "a Night of Stars" at the Horseshoe Riverdome. 

The red carpet has been ordered.   The paparazzi have been notified.   The ballots and the invitations have been sent to the printer. 

On Feb. 25 Bossier Chamber members will gather at Horseshoe Casino and Hotel for the Chamber's annual membership banquet and dinner.

While Chamber banquets are held to recognize the past contributions during the past year of the board members as well as introduce the new board members and the mission of the New Year, this will be a banquet like no other.  

It will be a night of stars.

This banquet will be entirely about our Chamber members, the reason the Chamber exists.

We have looked at the accomplishments of our members during the 2009 year, their participation level in the events that we have done, the behind the scenes work that they did to make sure the Chamber still exists to create a better working environment for Bossier-Shreveport and we will be awarding those members.

2010 Chamber Board members will serve as "celebrity" presenters and attendees will even experience commercial breaks in the program as commercials from our sponsors will be presented on the dual screens.

In addition to the awards presented to Chamber members, the Bossier Chamber's annual Patriot Day Awards Ceremony highlighting the accomplishments of selected first responders of the Bossier Parish community has been absorbed into the annual banquet.

The evening will work to a climax when the annual Chamber awards of Business and Business Person of the Year are presented.
