Bossier Parish Libraries open for you!

The Bossier Parish Libraries are back open for limited hours – Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The libraries are currently offering limited in-house services as well as curbside service for patrons.

“Curbside services continue to be popular with our community members,” said Mandi Johnson, Associate Director of Community Engagement for Bossier Parish Libraries. Johnson explained curbside service is great for patrons who know what books they want, can reserve them and then pick them up.

The libraries are still working to assist people with library services inside their branches, such as computer access, printing/copying/faxing/scanning services and research help, Johnson said. For those services and people who don’t know yet what they want to read, they are allowing people inside the branches but for limited amounts of time/limited capacity with no public seating and with no study or meeting room usage, all to continue to operate under the Phase Two guidelines and cleaning protocols and procedures.
Additionally, the libraries are offering FREE crafts outside in their Grab & Go stations to help keep you busy during social distancing! Also, the library offers e-cards for immediate access to their online resources.

All items are available to be checked out as usual and when items are returned, the library staff will quarantine them for 3 days prior to checking them back in.
