Celebrate Small Business Week with Us

National Small Business Week 2018 kicks off at the end of this month, April 29-May 5, and is an annual event hosted by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Created over 50 years ago, National Small Business Week recognizes the nation’s top small businesses, entrepreneurs, small business advocates and champions. Small businesses have always been the backbone of any economy, and we know that the success of America’s small businesses is critical to growing the economy and increasing competitiveness.

To garner attention for this national movement, the Bossier Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Bossier Parish Central Library and other business development organizations to bring to you our very own Small Business Week right here in Bossier-Shreveport! With more than 80% of our business members representing small businesses, it is crucial that our community rally behind the businesses that contribute so much to the local economy. We want small businesses to have the support they need to do what they do best: grow and create jobs.

Join us the week of April 29-May 5 by attending any of the events we have put together for Small Business Week, posting supportive messages in your business windows or marquees, sharing a story or testimony about small business success. We want you to get involved in your business community!
