Melvina A. Smith, CMSgt (Ret), USAF, is the CEO and founder of The Mel Perspective LLC, a purpose-driven leadership brand helping women lead with confidence, faith, and resilience. After 32 years of service in the United States Air Force, she retired as one of only 11 Major Command Chiefs in the Air Force, serving at the highest levels of leadership while mentoring and developing thousands of Airmen and families. Her career includes a notable milestone as the first female Command Chief for Air Force Global Strike Command, and she is honored in the Global Power Museum.
Today, Melvina brings that same mission to the stage, equipping women leaders to rise with courage, communicate with clarity, and lead with impact in business, community, and home. She is the creator of the SOAR to Greatness framework and the Sisters-in-Arms, Sisters-in-Wellness movement, and she partners with organizations to strengthen leadership development, wellness, and resilience.
